Service-related FAQs
Select from the following list of Service and Technical FAQs. Browse through these FAQs to find answers to commonly raised questions. If you're a new client of one of the services below, we encourage you to read through the relevant articles.
Eyelash extensions generally last throughout the natural lash growth cycle, which spans approximately six to eight weeks. As lashes progress through the phases of growth, transition, and resting, they naturally shed, allowing new lashes to grow in. This is why touch-ups or refills every 2 or 3 weeks are recommended to maintain the beauty of the extensions. Following proper after-care routines can help prolong their longevity.
When applied by a skilled and experienced technician, concerns about the health of your natural lashes are minimized. Our lash artists possess the expertise to determine the suitable length and weight to apply, prioritizing the health of your natural lashes.
Our trained and experienced lash artists are proficient in the proper technique and possess the knowledge necessary to prioritize your lash health while achieving your desired look.
At Lavoom Salon, we prioritize transparency regarding the products and materials used on the delicate eye area, ensuring the utmost safety and satisfaction for our clients.
Our lash remover boasts a cream-based formula, characterized by its thick, non-irritating consistency that sits comfortably on the lashes without seeping into the eyes or skin. The glue utilized is latex-free, cruelty-free, formaldehyde-free, and vegan, offering high retention. Notably, our glue is hypoallergenic, making it suitable for individuals with sensitive skin.
Moreover, we maintain optimal humidity levels in our environment with installed humidifiers, ensuring the eyelash adhesive dries at its ideal speed and maximizes lash longevity. We believe that attention to such details enhances the overall experience, ensuring our clients receive a service that surpasses expectations.
You can most definitely wear make-up with your eyelash extensions. When selecting makeup products, it is always best to go with oil-free ones. However, remember to remove them with oil-free makeup remover and cleanse them using our foam cleanser.
During refills, we meticulously remove any old lash extensions that have grown out and become brittle, ensuring your lashes maintain their health and integrity. Over time, natural oils and impurities can weaken the bond between the natural lash and extension.
Typically, after about three weeks, this bond may become unstable, prompting the extension to naturally shed. Therefore, we highly recommend scheduling refills every 2-3 weeks to maintain optimal retention and prolong the life of your lash extensions.
Regular refills at this interval are advantageous for your lashes, as prolonging the time between appointments may require additional time to clean up older lashes. Just like our skin, maintaining a scheduled routine of care and cleanliness is essential for lash health and longevity.
It's recommended to clean your extensions once or twice daily, particularly if you use makeup products, as debris can accumulate around the lashes, similar to our skin. To clean them, apply a small amount of lash shampoo and use a cleaning brush to carefully cleanse the area. Then, gently rinse your lashes and pat them dry with a towel before thoroughly brushing them.
Tip: In the mornings, lashes may become tangled and messy. Try rinsing your lashes with water and gently brushing the top side of the extensions with a finger placed beneath the lashes to help untangle them.

Classic lashes are meticulously applied individually in a 1:1 ratio on the natural lash, ideal for those seeking a subtle enhancement to their appearance.
Hybrid lashes blend Classic and Volume lashes to produce a fuller set, suitable for individuals with thinner natural lashes or those desiring a slightly more pronounced look compared to the Classic set.
Volume lashes offer a lighter, fluffier texture, imparting a fuller appearance. They are perfect for clients with sparse or few lashes, bald spots, or those seeking a dramatic look without the weight of thicker lashes.
There are a few things you should do in preparation for your appointment โas well as afterwards:
Before:
Shower prior to your appointment.
Wear comfortable clothing. You will lay down for 60 to 90 minutes with dimmed lights and soft music as your backdrop during your eyelash application, comfortable clothes will allow you to make the most of this time to relax and be pampered.
Remove your contacts. Your eyes will be closed during the application of your eyelash extensions, to avoid any discomfort, it is always suggested that contacts are removed, allowing eyes to be comfortable in a natural and rested state.
After:
Eliminate any unnecessary contact with water or steam within the first 48 hours will insure that the bond between the semi permanent lashes and your natural lashes has enough time to properly set.
